RSS Feeds - Applied Cash Flow - Brian M. Hazel

TwitterLinkedInFacebookPinterest

brian hazel

Subscribing to a website RSS

removes the need for the user

to manually check the website for new content.

Instead, their browser constantly monitors the site

and informs the user of any updates.

The browser can also be commanded to automatically

download the new data for the user.

One such example is placing your Expert Author RSS feed
on your own website.

This gives your site visitors a chance to see
the extent of your expertise directly.

RSS (also known as Real Simple Syndication)

is a way for people interested in certain topics to be instantly updated

when new content on those topics is published.

RSS feeds provide a stripped-down version of the new content

in a flexible web format that can be placed on websites
or read with an RSS reader.

All EzineArticles Expert Authors with at least one published article

have an RSS feed set up for their articles.

The Expert Author RSS feed shows a summary of your bio
and your most recent articles with the title,

published date and a summary.

Most website and blog authoring software has RSS
capabilities in the form of plug-ins (WordPress),

modules (Squidoo) or macros (WebGUI CMS).

There are also HTML templates and add-ons like CaRP available online.

You’ll need to review the documentation or contact your

webmaster for details about how to add RSS to your site.*

Other Advantages of RSS Feeds

EzineArticles gives you easy access to your own Expert Author RSS feed,

but you don’t have to limit your use of RSS in
article writing and marketing to just that.

In addition, you can use an RSS reader to keep tabs on
what other people in your niche are writing about.

You can choose to follow a single person or a whole niche.

To Set-Up and View an RSS Feed:
  1. Find an RSS reader and download it.
  2. Go to the main page for the niche or the author bio.
  3. Hover over the RSS Icon .
  4. Click on your preferred RSS Reader Button in the drop-down menu.
  5. Follow the directions for your reader on adding a new feed.

With RSS, you can include your Expert Author
feed right on your own website, and you can use an RSS reader to keep
you up-to-date on your niche.

Now, go and try to incorporate the use
of RSS feeds into your overall article writing and marketing strategy.

Also, leave a comment to share your experiences related to RSS feeds.

Enjoy,

Mobile Marketing - Methodology - Brian M. Hazel

Applied Cash Flow.com - Advanced Marketing

Advanced Marketing Concepts

Mobile Marketing Specifics

So, What is mobile marketing all about?

Mobile marketing is all about having a direct line of communication

with your potential and current customers.

The best way to set up a mobile marketing campaign

is to have a mobile app for your business that is

free for your customers to download.

Each day more and more people are getting

smartphones and using them more than ever.

Imagine being able to market to your customer

through a device that is always switched on,

always available and always with your customer.

Once you have an application designed and developed

for your business your next task is to get it out there.

Your mobile marketing strategy is no good

if people do not have your mobile app.

The best way to get people to download your new marketing tool

is to offer an incentive when people download your mobile app.

The best form of incentive would be to offer a

mobile coupon when somebody downloads your application.

For example, lets say that you are a local restaurant.

On your menu you would simply add a QR code that

linked to a download of your app

Under the QR code put a line of text, something like

“Scan to download out mobile app and get 10% of your next order”.

As it is not going to cost anybody to download your mobile app,

people will have no trouble downloading your mobile to get

a discount on their next order.

In fact mobile coupons get a ten times higher

retention rate than paper coupons.

Once your customer has your mobile application,

they have downloaded your entire business on their mobile phone.

They can view all information about your business,

from opening times to your food menu.

It doesn't end when your customer downloads your mobile app.

Just like social media you need to make sure that line of communication is

open between you and your customer.

Most mobile apps that you can have developed will

include some very important features.

One of the most important features is the ability to send

push notifications to your users mobile phones.

Here is an example of how you can use a combination of

mobile coupons and push notifications to increase business.

Lets say that you run a pizza restaurant and you are having a slow afternoon.

You can send out a push notification to everybody who

has your mobile app saying “come in this afternoon for 20% of your meal”.

People will soon rush into your restaurant as you will

have reminded them that you are there and they can also

have a chance to save money on a meal out.

Be sure not to send these notifications to often as

people may get sick and delete your app.

But again, mobile marketing is simple,

it is all about keeping those lines of communication opening and

marketing to a device that your customer never leaves their house with out.

Internet Marketing - Applied Cash Flow - Brian Hazel

FacebookTwitterLinkedInPinterest

brian hazel

Forget the stereotypical leadership image of

a buttoned-up person in a gray suit hauling around a hefty briefcase.

Today, standout leaders come in all shapes and sizes.

He or She could be...

A pajama-clad =>Internet Marketing Entrepreneur

running a major eCommerce company out of their home.

They might be the next salt-and-pepper-haired, barefoot Steve Jobs,

presenting a groundbreaking new device at a major industry conference.

" Research indicates that what really matters is that leaders are able to create

enthusiasm, 'Empowertheir people, instill confidence and be inspiring to the

people around them," says Peter Handal, chief executive of

New York City-based Dale Carnegie Training, a leadership-training company.

That's a tall order.

However, as different as leaders are today,

there are some things great leaders do every day.

Great leaders are brave enough to face up to

challenging situations and deal with them honestly.

Whether it's steering through a business downturn or getting struggling

employees back on track, effective leaders meet these challenges openly.

Regular communications with your team/staff,

informing them of both good news and how the organization is reacting to

challenges will go a long way toward making employees feel like you

trust them and that they're unlikely to be hit with unpleasant surprises.

Team members are more loyal and enthusiastic when they work in an

environment run by people they trust.

Building that trust can be done in many ways.

The first is to show employees that you care about them.

Take an interest in your employees beyond the workplace.

Don't pry, but ask about an employee's child's baseball game,

or college graduation.

Let your employees know that you're interested in their success and discuss

their career paths with them regularly.

When employees, vendors or others make mistakes,

don't reprimand or correct them in anger.

Instead, calmly explain the situation and why their behavior or actions weren't

correct, as well as what you expect in the future.

When people know that you aren't going to berate them and that

you have their best interests at heart, they're going to trust you.

If you're not a suit, don't try to be one.

Employees and others dealing with your company will be able to tell if you're

just pretending to be someone you're not.

That could make them question what else about you might be inauthentic.

Have a passion for funky shoes? Wear them.

Are you an enthusiastic and hilarious presenter?

Get them laughing.

Use your strengths and personality traits to

develop your personal leadership style.

When you conduct yourself in an ethical way and model the traits you want to

see in others, you earn the respect of those around you.

Leaders who are perceived as not "walking their talk" typically don't get very

far.

This contributes to employees and other stakeholders having pride in the

company, which is an essential part of engagement.

Also, customers are less likely to do business with a

company if they don't respect its values or leadership.

Good leaders remain intellectually curious and committed to learning.

They're inquisitive and always looking for new ideas, insights and information.

The best leaders understand that innovation and new approaches can come

from many places and are always on the lookout for knowledge or people who

might inform them and give them an advantage.

"The most successful leaders I know are truly very curious people.

They're interested in the things that contributes to their vision.

Blogging Profits Defined - Brian M. Hazel

FacebookTwitterLinkedInPinterest

Building => Your Online  Business can be a difficult task.

You can put hundreds of hours of effort into the business,

but if you still don’t have important components...

you will not be successful.

Today business owners are realizing that blogging boosts business. Blogs are typically only seen as personal places to express yourself and your views. The truth is however the blogs are also great places to reach people about your business or your products.

There are several ways to do this type of blogging.

The best way a business can use blogging to boost their business is by taking part in the blogs of others. You can easily create quality posts with your business in mind without needing to set up a blog of your own. Try finding blogs that pertain to the area of business you are in. This will help you get started. With millions of blogs out there, you should be able to find some with no problem. Choose to post on all of them, or choose the few that get the most activity. Then begin posting. When you do, you will see positive results come in.

If you are still curious about how this can boost your business,

check out these three reasons blogging boosts business.

Quick Name Recognition

The fastest way to get your business’s name out in the public is to make it known to your targeted marketing group. If you want to get your company’s name out to men who like fishing, then you can find a blog that is about just that. When you find the blogs pertaining to this marketing group, post useful and intelligent information about topics that pertain to your company. You might not want to sound like an advertisement. Think about responding to another comment and simply tagging your signature with your company’s website. This is a subtle way to get their attention. The more you post on blogs, the more widely known your company’s name will become with the select marketing group. When they tell their friends and family about the site then your consumer group will have grown even more. This is a fast way to get started. You will have to invest some time however. At least an hour a day can be used for this type of task.

Consumer Testimonies

Your company might even think about hiring professionals to blog for your company. You can offer these employees products to try and give them the task of finding blogs where they can appropriately “praise” the product. By paying these people to do the task, you will be getting the work done that you need without having to devote much time. Consumer testimonials go a long way with other consumers. If these bloggers are productive enough, you will see an increase due to it.

Building Relationships

Smart business owners know that they can go further with the help of others. A great way to connect and build relationships with other businesses is via their blog. If you are a regular poster who values their business, they will be more likely to work with you. Working together with advertising is a great idea. You can swap ad space for no fee if you like. These are great things for business owners and are easy to get into when you blog regularly.

As you can see, blogging can be a great way to do business. It may seem like tricky advertising, and it is in some ways. However, it is free advertising that does the same thing as a commercial on television does. It reaches a targeted marketing group and lets them know your company’s name, products, and sometimes offers an endorsement. Overall, it is an effective way to get your business out there. When people have no idea who you are, they are not going to feel comfortable working with you. The better your reputation is, the more likely they will trust you. When you have no reputation at all, they will not trust you either.

So, even if you just want to use blogging to build your company’s reputation, it will be worth your while. Give it a try and see what type of results you can get using these tips.
