On-page SEO are techniques you can use

to improve your chances of having your site

Rank at or near the top of searches.

Examples include using the best keywords,

saturating your text with the optimal number of these keywords,

and placing those keywords in the locations search engines like best.

Other examples of effective on-page SEO include:

• Including your keyword is in the page’s title
• Making sure your site has great meta tags, which are the description tags
that appear in search engine result pages.

Be sure to use to mark the beginning and end of your meta tags.

Plus, make sure they are limited to 160 characters in length, including spaces.

• Including your keywords in your header tags (also known as H1 tags).
These are the headlines that at the top of your article and within your web content.
• Including your keywords in ALT image text.
These are the descriptions added to an image that are displayed
when a user places the mouse cursor over the image.
• Making sure your content includes internal links.
These are links that connect to your other blogs or other parts of your website.

Off-Page SEO

Off-page SEO is just as important as on-Page SEO.
One of the best off-page SEO techniques is backlinking, or link building.

The more links your site includes to other sites
– especially sites search engines considered “authoritative”
– the higher your site will be ranked by search engines.

The biggest benefit of backlinks is that they cause search engines to give
your site higher rankings on search pages.

If your site is in the Number One spot on the first page of a search for your niche,
you are practically guaranteed to be clicked on by thousands,
if not millions, of people every day.
And if only a tiny percentage of those visitors actually buy something on your site,
you can make a lot of money.

But if you end up anywhere except the top half of the first
Search Engine Results Page (SERP) for your product niche,
you aren’t going to make very many sales. At that point,
it’s time to improve your SEO by creating more backlinks.

Good Backlinks vs Bad Backlinks

The best backlinks link to authoritative sites.
These are sites that most people would visit if they were looking for specific information.
Examples include Wikipedia, eHow.com, Wikimedia Commons, and others.

For example, assume your website offers automobiles for sale and you
have included two backlinks on your web page: One links to Motor Trend magazine’s website,
which says your site is a great place to buy cars.

The second is to a food blog where there is a recipe you liked.
In this case, the first backlink would be substantially
increase the value of your web page in the eyes of the search engines.

The second wouldn’t help it very much, although if it had the
proper keywords it might help your rankings a little bit.

Types of Backlinks

There also are three types of backlinks,
each of which has different value by search engines:
• One-Way Links – These are links from one or more pages of another website to yours,
without your linking back to that site.
• Reciprocal Links – These links connect to another site, and the other site links back to your page.
Another term for this is link swapping.
• Three-Way Links – This is when you link to a website,
but instead of linking directly back to my site,
the person running that site links back to your site from another site.

The type of links search engines are one-way links because there is no reciprocity.

Search engines also like three-way links because they look the same as one-way links.
Most links will add value to your web page for search engines,
but stay away from getting backlinks from unsavory sources, such as gambling or pornographic sites.

These will harm your site’s reputation among the big search engines.

To learn more techniques like these for improving your over-all profitability.

Maximize ROI - Backlinks - Brian M. Hazel

The Science of Profit - Backlinking

FacebookTwitterLinkedInPinterest

In one sentence ‘Backlinks’ are defined as,

Incoming links to Our Online Mega High Yield

Network Marketing:

When someone reads your content and

if he or she liked the same and produced

content related to the same topic on their blog,

and they create links back that content on your blog,

that’s called a backlink.

Still confused, let’s use this example:

Suppose, ‘ Mr. A’ writes a post in his blog about Backlinks,

When Mr. B goes through that article and finds

useful information and publishes the content related to Backlinks on

his own blog, and properly gives credit or creates

a link to  ‘Mr A’ original post.

Let’s describe the importance of Backlinks.

Faster indexing

- Faster indexing is regarded as the most important aspect of Backlinks.

With them Google and other major search engines can

index even a newer

blog at a much faster rate.

When Backlinks from high PR (page rank) sites, which are crawled

frequently come to your site, this in turn increases  the crawling of

search engine bots in your site… resulting in faster indexing.

Search Engine Rankings

- Another important aspect of Backlinks are that they improve your site

search engine’ranking.

If you build or have a higher number of quality Backlinks, your

site’s search engine rankings are going to be improved.

Search engine judge a site rankings on the number of quality Backlinks.

If you have more links…

Search engines show your site on their top pages.

Which is again very important for driving traffic from search result’s.

We  should all know that most of the traffic

which our blog receives comes

from search engines.

Page Rank

- Not only just search engine rankings.

Backlinks also effect Page Rank directly.

When you build Backlinks from high PR sites, you can definitely see an

increase in ranking for your next update

and we also know how important

it is  to page rank, regarding SEO.

The higher Page Rank let’s you rank high among your competitors who

have lower Page Rankings, which rewards your site

with more traffic than others.

We all know that Backlinks are a very important part of SEO

(search engine optimization).

Now let’s concentrate on the best Backlink building methods or how to

build Backlinks? If you Google Backlink building,

you can find thousands of

automated Backlink building tools which guarantee to provide your blog

with Backlinks.

Some of these automated tools are free and

some are paid which provide

you Backlinks from high PR sites.

Sites which provide free backlinks from

poor sites decrease your rankings,

hence decreases your site performance.

***BEWARE…some Backlink providers (paid),

which offer Backlinks are detected and

penalized by Google after their different updates.

So, from the prior paragraph we should conclude that we should always

try to garner quality Backlinks instead of several poor quality

Backlinks.

Quality Backlinks

- A quality Backlink may be defined as a

Backlink which comes from a site

which has content related to your site, rather than a link which comes

from a site which is not related to you.

Quality Backlinks come from sites which use your keywords or sites of

same theme.

Suppose, ‘site A’ receives a Backlink from a site using  the same

keywords or the same theme such as Blogging, SEO,

Make Money Online

etc, this link is regarded as a quality Backlink rather than if it

receives a link from an Automobile website. Google gives higher

importance to the link which comes from a blogging site and gives less

relevance to the link which comes from Automobile site. Google gives

higher importance to quality links which come from High PR sites.

It considers .gov and .edu as the most important.

There are basically two different types of Backlinks,…

One is ‘dofollow’ and the other  is ‘nofollow’.

(1) Dofollow Backlinks  are those Backlinks which are followed by

search engine crawlers that crawl your site.

When search engine crawlers enter your page,

they crawl your entire blog including links, pictures etc.

When they crawl a ‘dofollow’ link and they land on that

page, it will help in indexing your site faster.

This provides you with higher quality traffic

as well as helping to increase your Page rank.

(2) Nofollow Backlinks are those backlinks which contains  ‘nofollow’

tag. When search engine crawlers crawl this, they simply ignore it.

You can see different website sources by

right clicking and selecting ‘view source’, then use ctrl+f to find

rel=’nofollow’.

You will see many links with this tag, these links are ‘nofollow’ links.

These links also provide you with good traffic but  are not beneficial for

Page Rank.

Note: Tag poor links in your site with a ‘nofollow’ tag.

The Best quality Backinks:

(1) Social Media - Social media and bookmarking site’s always provide

us with quality Backlinks. Facebook and Twitter

have always proved good for Backlink building.

Just create a Fan Page and start posting links.

(2) Guest posting is always discussed as the best ‘white hat’

technique for building Backlinks. Just go to different sites or blogs

which offer ‘Guest posts’.

Write for them which in turn will provide you with quality Backlinks and

traffic.

(3) Blog Commenting is the easiest way to get good quality Backlinks.

Just post comments with your links (anchor text) in blogs related to

(4) Site submissions to blog directories.

Submit your blog to different blog directories such as Blogcatalog and

Technorati.

(5) Forum signature linking - Participate in different forums related

to your niche. Many forums use signature linking, just post your URL in

signature linking field and it’s done. (Only high quality forums)

(6) Yahoo answers - Yahoo answers is another way of getting good

Backlinks. Answers questions related to your niche, citing your blog

URL.

(7) RSS directories - Submit your feed to different RSS directories.

(8) Article Submission - Submit your article to different article sites such

as Ezine Articles.

Following These Methods Will Build...

Excellent Quality Organic Backlinks and

Properly Directed Organic Traffic.
